Speaker Instructions

This year the 2017 Sustainability Summit features an exciting new format. This year our focus will feature sustainability initiatives that are reshaping southeastern Wisconsin, the larger region as well as global efforts. Our goal is to inspire a collaborative culture of new and unconventional ideas between business, NGOs, academic institutions and government that facilitates transformation with knowledge that can advance change in unexpected ways. 

The expectations are that the majority of each session is designed for questions and answers. To accomplish this, each speaker will have 15 minutes, and no more than 10 PowerPoint slides to talk about specifics related to the topic that they are addressing. Note, that there really is no time to talk about the speaker or their company. Please focus on substance. Please consult our Summit webpage (Online Program) for the full Summit program that we be available after April 15th. Please register for the Summit online https://ennect.com/e2750 at your earliest convenience (you may register free of charge for the day of your presentation; optional registration for a second day is $50.).

Preferably at least a week before your presentation, please send your PowerPoint presentation (or other digital media) to Maria Peot at peotml@matc.edu. Please label your digital media with your Name and Presentation Title so we can have it loaded on the proper laptop. House laptops are PC’s; if you bring a Mac, please allow extra time for plug in and testing. If you are bringing in your media on a jump drive, please be sure to save in PC format and not Mac.

We request (but do not require) permission to post your presentation on our website for the year following the Summit. On the day of your presentation, please arrive at least one hour before your session start time, check in at the Registration Desk, and proceed to your assigned room.
